About us
EAT Electrical Solutions is a North Yorkshire electrical contractor focused on manufacturing sites, LV switchgear and facilities management companies. We keep plant and buildings safe, compliant and running. Sites we’ve worked on for clients include Aston Martin, Amazon, DHL, B&M, Home Bargains and Three Mobile.
LV switchgear
Low voltage switchgear is a core part of what we do: new boards, replacements, servicing and written reports for manufacturers and the facilities teams who look after their sites.
Facilities management
FM companies use us as a specialist electrical partner. Planned maintenance, reactive call-outs, EICRs and the reporting your client needs, without you carrying extra headcount.
Local, with national reach
Based in Knaresborough, we work across Leeds, York and the wider Yorkshire area, and carry out work nationwide when you need a contractor you already trust.
Safety & compliance
Our electricians are licensed, insured and work to current regulations. NAPIT and TrustMark membership is the external check on that standard.

Young Entrepreneur of the Year
Elliot Tierney won Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the BizX Awards 2025. In 2026 he won Best Personal Growth, with EAT Electrical Solutions also a Fastest Growing Company finalist.
In the community
Charity, local sport and fundraising
EAT Electrical Solutions sponsors Knaresborough Rugby Club. We have raised over £7,000 for the Electrical Industries Charity. Elliot climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in October 2024, and Zoe abseiled the Europa Hotel in Belfast in October 2025. Elliot also sits on the Emerging Professionals Board, the Welfare Audit Committee and the Yorkshire Regional Committee for the charity.
